NAI Global Arranges 5 Year Lease of Facility at Keystone Industrial Port Complex

GMA Garnet (USA) Corp to Use Facility to Establish a Northeast Location for Garnet Imported from Australia

GMA Garnet has leased the T3 building in the Keystone Industrial Port Complex (KIPC) in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania.

GMA Garnet owns and operates the world’s largest industrial garnet mining and processing operation, based in western Australia. GMA ships approximately 10,000 ton parcels of garnet in loose bulk to the KIPC facility for storage. From there the garnet is run through a quality-control and packaging plant before eventual distribution throughout North America. GMA Garnet also intends to construct a large scale garnet recycling plant at the KIPC facility.

The 77,000 SF facility sits on the former US Steel mill site, and is part of the KIPC’s efforts to rehab the property for multiple heavy industrial and manufacturing use. GMA Garnet signed a five year lease on the property and the KIPC was represented by Rick Leighton, Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, NAI Global, as well as a team from local firm NAI Mertz (Jeff Licht, Adam Lashner and Fred Meyers).

The KIPC is located in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, along the Delaware River, with access to Routes 1, 95, 295, New Jersey and Pennsylvania Turnpikes, rail and a deepwater port.
